“...la obra transparente a su propia literalidad/.../como mecanismo, como sección que se puede proyectar entre nuestros sentidos y la realidad material que nos rodea y que –mediante el significado, la función semántica, y siempre a través de la memoria– establece lazos indisolubles con el espectador al situarlo en el centro del problema. Proyectar ese circuito cerrado entre sujeto, objeto y significado es proyectar una obra cuya materialidad es únicamente el anclaje con el mundo que la hace posible pero que difícilmente se reduce a ella.”

"...the work makes its own literalness transparent/.../as a mechanism, as a cross-section that can be projected amongst our senses and the material reality that surrounds us and -by means of a semantic function- can establish an insoluble link with the spectator by placing it in the centre of the problem. To project that closed circuit between subject, object and significance is to project a work whose materiality is solely a link to the world that enables its existence but with difficulty can it be reduced to that.”
